an absolutely remarkable post

To do a quick reading update, I’ve been continuing An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green. When I started it a while ago, I had read up to chapter 5, and I finally passed that point!
So the book has been praised as having a really good representation of internet fame, which is perhaps not something I actually find completely interesting. The beginning is about a girl who finds this really wacky sculpture in New York City at 3 a.m. and she calls her video-savvy friend who helps her film a youtube video featuring the sculpture. It totally blows up because it turns out the same sculpture is in every major city all over the world and she was the first to see one, so she ends up a bit famous immediately, which is certainly a cool thing to explore, especially considering who Hank Green is. It just might not be my thing to explore.
However, it is starting to become more intriguing to me as it focuses more on the mystery and possibly science fiction elements of the sculptures, so hopefully I’ll keep reading this time. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty good. I just currently have so many books I want to read.
It mostly just pains me to stop reading again barely past the point I stopped at last time.
